Faculty Exhibition 2024

Faculty Exhibition 2024 is a triennial showcase of professional work by the University of Maryland’s world-class Department of Art faculty and adjunct faculty. The exhibition highlights the faculty’s creative achievements over the past several years while emphasizing that their scholarship and teaching are grounded, first and foremost, in an active art-making practice. 

This exhibition is organized by Director and Chief Curator Taras W. Matla, with administrative support from Program Administrative Specialist Charisma Oparaugo, and design and installation led by Preparator Korey Richardson. Additional contributions by Curatorial Assistants Nan Zhong and Patricia Ortega-Miranda.

Faculty Exhibition 2024 is a triennial showcase of professional work by the University of Maryland’s world-class Department of Art faculty and adjunct faculty. The exhibition highlights the faculty’s creative achievements over the past several years while emphasizing that their scholarship and teaching are grounded, first and foremost, in an active art-making practice. 

This exhibition is organized by Director and Chief Curator Taras W. Matla, with administrative support from Program Administrative Specialist Charisma Oparaugo, and design and installation led by Preparator Korey Richardson. Additional contributions by Curatorial Assistants Nan Zhong and Patricia Ortega-Miranda.  

Major support is provided by the Dorothy and Nicholas Orem Exhibition Fund. Generous support is provided by the Maryland State Arts Council. This exhibition is presented in association with the College of Arts and Humanities and University of Maryland's Arts for All initiative.
